Post subject: Seatbelt Positioning
My husband asked me the other day if I had to place the bottom strap of the seatbelt differently now that I’m pregnant (in case the worst happened and we were in an accident) – I didn’t know – have any of you ladies heard of doing this?

According to the handbook that comes with our car you wear the lap belt bit underneath the bump, not above it or across it.

I bought an adaptor thing that holds the belt under your bump - much more comfortable and safer as well although not the most elegant bit of equipment!!! Xx

I got mine from Mamas and Papas for about £20 but I got it 4 years ago when I was pregnant with Isobel. I think mothercare have a version and eBay would be worth a look.
