Mr Pickles gave me a 70% chance. Another surgeon I saw before him gave me a 8% chance due to my age. Personally I think everyone has a 50/50 chance. Saying that Mr pickles said it would take me roughly 6 months to fall pregnant and to the month I did. He is a brilliant surgeon. Very Happy

To be totally honest I don't think they should give you a guide 'percentage' as its so difficult to predict who will get pregnant Question often docs will call at least one re-attached tube a success though, when for the woman a baby in her arms is the only measure of success, so that can boost their statistics, by that method my op was a success but 34 months on I haven't been pregnant and my tube is closed again Question
Overall though at the clinics that do keep pregnancy and birth stats, the younger you are the higher your chances, under 35's do best age wise , but also other things like method of sterilisation used (clips tend to be less damaging)and length of tubes you're left with as each bit of the tube has a particular function ,plus your body's own natural ability to heal( without too much scarring) and your baseline fertility all come into it.
If it took you say 9-12 months to conceive before the op then that may reduce your chances of getting pregnant after reversal as you can get scarring in the tubes and the first 6 months or so are the time when you might be most likely to be able to conceive Question
I'm afraid no one can give you a cut and dried answer on the outcome as after being on here and other forums for 3yrs now, it does seem often to come down to luck , Good luck for September x
