Post subject: Can't find anything unique that doesnt sound too wacky!!!
I think we are sorted for a girls names (we don't know what we are having) but I am stumped for a boys name. I like names that aren't popular, theres nothing wrong with them, I just prefer a more unique name. Our daughters name is Welsh but I'm struggling for Welsh boys names so we have expanded our search to pretty much any origin!!! I think its easier to be more experimental with girls names, but trying to pick one for a boy that will carry him through life doesnt sound too twee/feminine/superhero is so much harder!
Do any of you have any ideas for a unique but solid boys names (if you know what I mean)!! I loved Oliver until I discovered it was the top name in 2010/11 (I think!!) I still love the same but I prefer it to be not as well 'used'... xxx

Im in the same boat.
I know im having a boy and cant decide on a boys name. Or we come across one we like to find someone beat us to it
The name i did like i found out my aunts dog is called it. That was Finn (her dog spelt fynn)
We also liked Jobe and Jobie but then remembered my nan had a dog called Jobie when i was little.
We have a name we like but it is a little different (well the shortened version is- its Celtic) so still unsure what people will think of it. Im worried people may think its a bit chavy, i know my MIL who is VERY middle class wont like it- she wouldnt have like the others to be honest.
Ive told people to expect him not to have a name for at least a week when hes born
My FAV FAV names r.
Max- hubbys cousin already used it
Noah- Hubby not keen on
Maison- again hubby not liking it- also its a character now on neighbors and dont want people thinking thats were i got it from as Daughters name Belle did come fro hoe and away
