I think we are sorted for a girls names (we don't know what we are having) but I am stumped for a boys name. I like names that aren't popular, theres nothing wrong with them, I just prefer a more unique name. Our daughters name is Welsh but I'm struggling for Welsh boys names so we have expanded our search to pretty much any origin!!! I think its easier to be more experimental with girls names, but trying to pick one for a boy that will carry him through life doesnt sound too twee/feminine/superhero is so much harder!

Do any of you have any ideas for a unique but solid boys names (if you know what I mean)!! I loved Oliver until I discovered it was the top name in 2010/11 (I think!!) I still love the same but I prefer it to be not as well 'used'... xxx

We were the same! We didn't find out what we were having and had Evan picked out as our boy name. It's so hard to find unusual names that aren't too weird! I'll have a think! X

Im in the same boat.

I know im having a boy and cant decide on a boys name. Or we come across one we like to find someone beat us to it Sad

The name i did like i found out my aunts dog is called it. That was Finn (her dog spelt fynn)
We also liked Jobe and Jobie but then remembered my nan had a dog called Jobie when i was little.

We have a name we like but it is a little different (well the shortened version is- its Celtic) so still unsure what people will think of it. Im worried people may think its a bit chavy, i know my MIL who is VERY middle class wont like it- she wouldnt have like the others to be honest.

Ive told people to expect him not to have a name for at least a week when hes born Laughing

My FAV FAV names r.

Max- hubbys cousin already used it Sad
Noah- Hubby not keen on
Maison- again hubby not liking it- also its a character now on neighbors and dont want people thinking thats were i got it from as Daughters name Belle did come fro hoe and away Laughing
