Post subject: Bleeding, passing liver like clots but still pregnant?
Last Sunday there was a gush of blood and I passed some clots. I was sure I miscarried. The bleeding stopped a few hours later and then nothing. Today I had an ultrasound and surprise! I am still pregnant! At the ultrasound they did't see anything abnormal. So for now I know nothing. Coming home today after the exam I went to urinate and saw some more blood and liver like blood clots. What is going on?

Could you get a sample to show ure doctor and then go bk to them wit it. They m8ght b able to identify where ure bleeding from or see if theres anything abnormal in the blood that cud suggest an infection somewhere. Tho its jst a thought x

@ Hayley2903. Did they ever discover what caused all that bleeding? My u/s seemed normal, nothing suspicious.

shame you must be in a panic. i have heard of plenty pregnancies where bleeding is common, but the baby is fine. it seems the bleeding is from around the womb and not inside. i watch alot of programmes "saving babies" and they have spoken about this often.
wishing you all the best for a safe pregnancy.

Thank you. I wish to remain positive since this baby is some kind of miracle. We have been trying to conceive for 13 years and when we finally stopped hoping it happened. Today I'm seeing my doctor, hoping he will shed some light on what's been going on.
