Post subject: Foods for constipation
Any tips ladies for constipation and which foods work best.
my 28th month old has a bad appetite and is on pediasure, 1 bottle a day.
she never had problems before, but seems to have developed constipation over night. i want to try to introduce something she will enjoy and still get the tummy to work.

thanks

Hi my little boy was on something similiar to paediasure called infatrini and I found while on that he never had an appetite as it was so thick and stodgy. We eventually got him of it and his appetite now knows no bounds at times lol! It also caused constipation for him so we found lactulose helped and spinach and pear would really help clear him out. He had fruit every morning in his porridge and plenty of water. The constipation stopped when the infatrini was stopped too xx

I find grapes & strawberries help my ds with his constipation & drinking plenty of water as well. I give my son a cup of drink every meal time as well as a beaker in between meals (probably drinks around 20ozs of fluid a day) Jacob tends to go for 2 poo's a day now...1 in the morning & 1 in the afternoon Smile Plenty of veg in his diet as well which seems to help Smile xx
