This last pregnancy I was getting tightening pains ( tho not BH) and when I explained it to the consultant at my 12 week appt he said that BH can (rarely) happen in subsequent pregnancies ( he didn't listen to my explanation of what I was feeling and went on about BH like I had never had one before Rolling Eyes - I think it actually turned out to be indigestion for me Laughing Laughing )

So, in short, my point is, apparently BH can happen V early

xx

BH happen all time during pregnancy just most women dont feel them (or know what they are) i had them all the way through my last pregnancy and this one i havent felt them as much mostly in the evening when im relaxing (due to already having a toddler running around i might not feel as much) Laughing

hope this has helped (they can be very random and sometimes very painful (but other than that they are normal)

I've had midwives tell me the same as bbysad said that they happen right from the start but you don't always feel them right away.
With my first 2 I never noticed any at all Question Laughing
But I've felt them as early as around 15-16 weeks in other pregnancies xx

yh some times they can be really light that u have no idea u are having them and some times you can get them really bad where they make u think that ur in labour

but most women dont feel them just the unlucky few

i didnt feel the with my first (didnt even get a chance for labour)
i did feel them all the way through with my second (none stop went to hospital to many times and they said that is it is normal to get them all the way through)
and this one i am not getting them as much (only in the evenings)

most of the time they are there we just dont realize they are =D

I didn't have them at all during the first pregnancy. I went to see OBGYN at 36 weeks and was hooked up to a machine for 5 mins and apparently was having BH's but could not feel them!
