Post subject: How long trying for your second??
Hi ladies - just wondered how long you tried for your second? Was it same less or more than first?
I was on microgynon pill just before tried for first - and after 4 months ttc we did it - although id been on pill for ten years before n dont think i was ovulating right away despite periods being normal right away.
This time ive been on the pill you take everyday - no break - i wonder if it takes longer to get back to normal after this pill?
Ive been doing the cheapy ovulation tests am n pm since fri as pink pad app says ovulation should peak 2m - but had zero line so far- any ideas? Do you think its just late?
Last time i used them i only got faintish lines one day but not gad anything this time round

My first was just one time of not been careful. It took nearly 5 years to conceive my son. If I'm honest I haven't really used contraception properly/regularly since my first. I haven't been on any contraception for 2 years and still no BFP.
I would think you should be fine TTC no.2.
As for the pill I don't have a clue.

Well we've not really been trying but not really not trying for last 6 months although last 2 months missed ov day completely due to bad timming! Anyway this will be first month trying for number 2 here's hoping it doesn't take 3 years like the first!!

Didn't have to try at all! Took over 3 years (and very close to ivf) with first. While deciding whether to go back on the pill again it just happened! No monitoring, no timing, no legs in the air lol. And it's not as if we were 'at it' constantly with a newborn in the house. Think we only dtd once!
Hope you're not waiting too long ladies.
