I dont like or eat eggs but we keep them in the fridge, Ive seen on cookery programs where theyve said you dont need to put them in the fridge but I just couldnt imagine not doing it.

I keep them in the fridge, although I really don't know why as they're just on the shelf in the supermarket. And all fridges come with an egg compartment lol. xx

Fridge, I don't know of anyone who doesn't keep them in the fridge. I also have to smell them before I cook them since been ill eating a dodgy one in the past.

Fridge even though I know they don't need to be stored in the fridge, it feels right!
I think your meant to let them get to room temp before you use them.

Mine are kept out of the fridge, I do a lot of baking and it's better to use room temperature eggs for it

Mine are kept in the fridge.. I usually get them out about a half hour before I need them to bake though.. We use alot of eggs in my house so we usually have the big 15 egg packs and to be fair there's not really anywhere to leave that size box haha x

I keep them in the fridge too but my mum keeps them on the side in a tub.. hmm!! Aww was it on this weeks celeb juice?
Its a strange 1 like you say you get egg holders in a new fridge but then you don't buy them from the fridge! suppose its each to there own. xx

I keep mine on the side, always have done but my mum and nan have always kept them on the side too so it's our habit. Our theory is:- the inside of a chicken is warm, being sat on by a chicken is warm and being on the supermarket shelf is warm so why the need to refrigerate them after purchase when they need to be room temp to cook with Laughing Very Happy
