3 Months isn't a long time to be trying really, it might seem like forever even one month can seem too long, but even a fertile couple in their early twenties only have a 1 in 5 chance any single month, so it's not uncommon for it to take 6 months to a year and sadly as you get older it may take longer as your egg quality does tend to go down a bit.
That doesn't mean you're past it though lots of women conceive naturally in their early forties, as long as you still ovulate you're in with a chance.
If you want to boost your chances do some googling about how to improve egg quality, there are loads of tips out there, you never know one of them may help
I'm 43 and I haven't given up yet
