Post subject: Sensitive teeth & gums!
Hi all,

I know we have spoken about the sore teeth already!
Yesterday morning i woke up in bloody agony with my mouth!
I have already had toothache during pregnancy and got a tooth removed. Thought that was the end of it!
But this is more my gums they feel super sensitive and inflamed, i also noticed they were bleeding when i brushed this morning! Sad
Cold water is a def no.
Is this normal? Its driving me mad if it's not one thing it's another! Think im just a bit emotional today from major lack of sleep lol Crying or Very sad

Any suggestions would be great

xxxx

Hi. Its normal to have sensitive and bleeding gums during pregnancy. Mine bleed on and off when brushing, just when I get one side sorted, it moves somewhere else! Just try and keep your teeth/gums as clean as possible - so pay more attention to them now then you would normally do. should be nothing to worry about. xxx

I feel for you, I had really sore gums when I was pregnant with my daughter..9 years ago Rolling Eyes had to get 3 teeth removed too, she stole all my goodness lol.

My first sign of pregnancy a couple of weeks ago were bleeding gums, they were also really swollen and inflamed. I hope this only lasts a short time for you honey xxx

if you ask your dentist they can also give you corsodyl gel to put on your gums and inbetween your teeth. Use a mouthwash daily and also a soft or medium brush not a hard one. x

Bleeding gums and other dental problems are normal during pregnancy. If you are in terrible pain, you should consult with your dentist. When I was in same circumstance, I got to my dentist Redondo Beach and he cured me with permanent treatment.
