Post subject: Sick Pay
Hi all, I am 27 weeks pregnant with my first baby, I work long hours as a Nanny with two small children and am finding it exhausting, if I get a Doctors note for a week or so to give me a break will I get sick pay or do I have to start my maternity pay. Can anyone help please?

You should get sick pay. At my work its only if you go sick in the last 4 weeks before your due date, then you have to go straight on maternity x

Yup Mikhaela is right. You can still get sick pay up to 4 weeks before you're due date and if it's non pregnancy related you get sick pay even then xxxx
