Post subject: 3 1/2 month old sleep Is 3 1/2 months old too young to sleep train? You know the let them cry for so long, go to them and continue this until they are asleep. Any advise would be appreciated. Currently nursing my daughter to sleep, yes I know this is wrong.

Post subject: Nursing your baby to sleep isn't wrong. My little one is 13 months and I still nurse him to sleep! (And did so with my first - and it's lovely.) If it works for you and your baby, that's all that matters. If it doesn't, then that's another matter. However, I personally think three and a half months is still early for sleep training / controlled crying - they're still so tiny at this stage. Through reading, 10 months is supposed to be the optimum age for this. Hope you find a way that works well for you both - don't let others pressure you into routines and training though - only do it for yourself / baby.
