hiya, congratulations!! My bowels were like yours until i reached 8 weeks and then it all settled down, just put it down to change. I booked an appointment at my docs where they sometimes confirm your pregnant but id taken 6 tests so he didnt see the need. Then they pass your details onto a midwife and you should be sent an appointment which is a booking in appointment. There they take all of your details, medical, personal and try to work out roughly when your due date is by taking the first day of your last period. They also take some routine bloods but they will tell you what they are for.
Hope you enjoy a healthy and happy 9 months!! x

Congratulations! All of your symptoms sound perfectly normal so don't worry. Doctor's generally don't re-test your urine if you are pregnant as home tests are so accurate nowadays but it's worth taking a sample just incase. Have a wonderful pregnancy.

I went to the Dr the day after I found out and he didn't do any tests - I think they tend to take your word for it. I was told to make an appointment with the midwife. Which was basically leave your details and we will ring you. That took about a week for her to call and I have been counting the days since (I've known since wk 5!). My appointment is booked for Tuesday and I can't wait for it to all seem real.
I think you tend to see the midwife anywhere between 8-10 weeks gone.
Congrats again though. xx
