Can I claim income support if I decide not to return to work after my maternity leave? I'm a single mum.

Yeah you can claim income support! and probably lots more!
You will probably also be entitled to Child Tax Credits, I have just applied for this and got a back payment of £800!!! It goes on what you earn within certain tax years!!
