I'm gonna be testing this week. Well, to tell the truth, I already have. Was due AF on Tuesday and got really quite excited when it didn't arrive!!!! Got a first response test (boots are doing buy one get one free at the moment!) and tested on Tuesday PM but it was negative.

I kind of thought that it would be to be honest. Although I definitely did the deed when I had thought I was ovulating I think i may have ov'd later as a week or so after that I had some watery discharge (last week). So was really confused about that!

Anyway, still no AF and no symptoms of AF either so am still a little excited even though I have spent ages working out the sums in my head and the likelihood of a BFP is not great. Am going to test again on Friday if there is still no sight of the wicked witch!!!

HI Bubsy and gemz

Good Luck with your testing this weekend. I am due to test. I'm, on a really long cycle at mo, due to coming off the pill but pretty sure I am due af anytime between sat-Mon, based on when i thought I ov'd. So think am going to test on sat am using fmu....so wish me luck...although I don't think it's our month...have had no symptoms what so ever...no af symptoms either...

Hey Guys,

Tested this morning using my other first response. Had to wait for ages for my OH to get out of bed to do this - we said we would do every step together. Anyway, did the test, went downstairs whilst it did its thing to distract myself and he came running down the stairs to say he looked 'by mistake'. It was POSITIVE!!!! At first I didn't believe him but there was definitely two lines there!!!! I burst into tears and just can't really take it all in. I'll probably get a couple of more test - just to make sure!!!

Good luck to everyone else who is testing this weekend!!!

Thanks to everyone that passed on their congratulations. It still all seems very surreal but I know it is true cos I must have done about 20 tests!! Went to see the doctor yesterday which was a real let down. What do they actually get their money for? All he did was refer me to the hospital and fill in a form for free prescriptions. When I asked if he could advise if one hospital was better than the other all he said was 'That's a good question'!!

Anyway, good luck to everyone still trying!!!
