my daughter is now healthy happy 4 year old little girl, she was born 8 weeks premature by emergency c section and weighed just under 3pounds. at a normal ante natal scan i was told id lost fluid from umbilical cord and she wasnt growing properly. when i went back 4 a check up few days later i was told her heart wasnt working as well as it shud so instead of trying to get me further on in pregnancy they decided 2 bring her early. she was fine after c section and only needed 2 be kept in scbu around 6 weeks till she put weight on and cud be bottle fed ect, she never needed oxygen or ne other help as there was nothing wrong with her. whilst im ever thankfull she was so healthy and glad she was born early so she cud properly develope in care of scbu, iv never been told why? obviously as there was no problems with her after birth and because i lost fluid it must have been something wrong with me, an my body! is it normal not to be told, or find out what this is, an why? how do i no if it will happen again if i try 4 another? im worried it might, an if it happens earlier in pregnancy the outcome may not be so happy! i have had misscarriages b4-surley theres a link, a reason 4 these things an surley some investigation shud have been made!
