hello everyone.... I have been tryin to conceive since Nov. 2007...it hasnt been long but i have a concern. Is it normal for my husband's "lil soldiers" to somewhat leak out? I know it sounds strange but i just cant seem to keep his ejaculation in....Is there something wrong with me?? Should i hang upside down or something?? lol please help me...thank u

Hi. Ive also heard putting your legs up and resting them against the wall. Not very romantic but gives you a laugh afterwards. But dont worry I think its quite common for some to leak out, it happens to me!!! But some will swim up and gravity could help a bit more. Good luck with ttc. Pupx

yes i am ttc wit my first baby nd i never thought that it would be so difficult nd sometimes weird. i never thought that his lil soldiers would leak out and in such a big quantity. It feels like everything that he puts in just comes out a few seconds later. I've tried that whole pillow under ur butt thing and the legs on the wall but nothin seems to work. i feel like im failing both of us because if i cant keep them in then neither of us can be a parent nd we both want it soooo bad

Yip legs up the wall is what I practice. It can be hard to watch the telly upside down especially when your head is under the duvet next to your other halfs feet though. Leakage is perfectly normal. They say 20 - 30 minutes lying flat (or with legs up) after sex is good.

Anyone else geting a bit of thrush/ cystitis from this though(sorry to impose on your post) Rolling Eyes

Hi Wifeyboo12, i to have this problem had 1 baby so some must have got there...i have been trying since november for another.ii try to not jump up, pillow under bum even got hubby to hold legs up slid of bed onto shoulders and lay like that for half an hour, the things we do,try not to worry about it i just think those are the not so good one's and my body is getting rid of them..... Also jennip35...i suffer from thursh every month just before ovulation i wondered if this was why i wasn't getting pregers but doc said it shouldn't make a differance, thrush is caused by a ph inbalance, stress can cause this to happen so i think mine is because im getting so wound up just before ovulation.Dory x

I had this problem with leakage. Some1 on here suggested I try Preseed. I still get leakage but Preseed has cut it dramatically. Also, its TTC safe and is supposed to seperate the swimmers so they have a better chance. Good luck and baby dust to u all.

Its basically a lubricant. Most vaginal lubricants have spermicide in them so are harmful to sperm. I've heard even saliva isn't good, I dont know how accurate that is so don't take it as gospel. But, basically preseed was specifically designed for TTC couples. Just type Preseed into any search engine and it should give u details.

Hi Ladies,

I read that it is perfectly normal for most of the 'liquid' to come out. Apparently the 'lil soldiers are in the first part and so what follows is basically just 'stuff'!!! The cystitis MAY be caused by hanging upside down and trying to keep it in as we are supposed to 'get rid' of most of it as it can cause infections and we dont need it....the swimmers are well on their way to meet mrs egg! I have seen varying reports about keeping your legs in the air etc, but the main advice is that its a myth. Lying down for a couple of minutes afterwards and just stopping gravity taking over immediately is the best advice.

Im on my 2nd week of TWW, so we will see how it goes!!!

Txx
