hi laura, ive just gone through the exact same thing with major cramping and I went for an emergency scan today AND ALL WAS WELL! Turned out that I had some scar tissue that was being stretched and thats what was giving me the grief, but that cramping is okay as everything is softening up and stretching. GOOD LUCK FOR TOMORROW HONEY, HOPE EVERYTHING GOES WELL. XXXXXXX

Let us know how it goes and good luck. I had an early scan (8 weeks) today for the same reason, but had to go private as my GP didn't take me seriously. Everything is fine but the Consultant thought baby is about 6 weeks! I'm sure everything will be fine for you too..

when i had my first scan what was meant to be 9 weeks they said baby was 6 so had to go back 2 weeks later and then at that scan they put the baby at 13 - so dont take too much as gospel on your first scan the 2nd and 3rd are they important ones - but needless to say its a breathtaking experience - enjoy it - you will be amazed how it takes so much pressure off when its done
