got tould when i had my girl your not aloud to do both not good for the baby thats what the health visiter said to me any how three years ago almost

I had my heart set on breast feeding but my son had real trouble feeding and we tried untill he developed the habit of biting down and hanging on..........ooooohhhh painfull Shocked Expressed milk and formula for a couple of weeks till it just became to much, so by 6wks he had to be on formula fulltime anyway for other reasons. I know lots of people that do both, mainly working mums. Breast feeding when they can, but bub knows how to have a bottle when needed, like at day care etc. Do what works and feels best for you and dont let anyone give you flack if they dont like your choice. Sure we all know breast is best but it doesnt suit everyone a Very Happy
