Hi i am on the same boat as yourself although i was on the pill and am of it since may '09 and i also have pre cancerous cells which i think are effecting me getting pregant. I know its so hurtful when the dreaded period arrives it drives me mad. BUT you have to say to yourself its not your time yet and it will happen it just takes time. If your like me you just hope and pray every month i doesnt come and you have 2 blue lines instead of 1.... Hope you get pregant soon.xx Posted: Wed Jan 06, 2010 5:25 pm

Post subject: Implant removal Hi - i had my implant removed on 11th Jan and had a very light period for 3 days (first in about 5 years as didnt have any when I was on the depo or the implant - so it was still preety awful!) and nothing since. I cant be pregnant (yes i am sure) but still no period - i was begining to think that there was something wrong as my Doc didnt warn me about any delays with my cycle getting back normal. thanks to all messages on here I've stopped worrying cos it looks like i am going to have to wait for my body to get itself back to normal! I just wish my Doc had warned me it could take so long!
Whats the longest anyone has had to wait for periods to get back to normal? good luck to all those TTC thanks Posted: Fri Mar 05, 2010 7:21 pm
Post subject: Implant Hi
Have been reading all your comments. I know these where posted last year so i'm hoping you have all had some good news now, which Is why I am replying, I had the implant taken out last year on the understanding that my fertility would return immediately, it has now been 9months and still nothing. This is quite a shock to me as I was only on it for a 1 & 1/2 especially as with my first child I was on the pill before for nearly 15 years & was told it could take up to a year to fall pregnant & it was only 8weeks!! x
