Post subject: Problem finding baby seat to fit Ford Focus I just can't believe how difficult it is to get a baby seat (with base) which will fit a Ford Focus 02 reg,5 door. Surely this car is one, if not THE, most popular family car?
Can anyone help? We wanted the Graco transport system but the base support bar goes straight down and does not touch the floor of the car. Also the seat belt is too short and I hear it is not recomended to get it made longer. Posted: Mon Jul 23, 2007 8:43 pm
Post subject: Focus's are known for the short belts
 , the britax cosy tot only just fits in a rear side seat, also the britax rock-a-tot should fit on the alternative routing in all 3 rear seats.
Do you have iso-fix in the car? If you have frontal air bags can the be switched off? and try the graco in the front seat  Posted: Sat Jul 05, 2008 5:02 pm
Post subject: Car seat 4 ford focus. After reading comment about car seat 4 ford focus, i was really worried about getting 1 4 my car. I picked my Pram the Jane Slalom pro, Then I got the rebal car seat 2 match. So i got a travel system so happy. So dont panic like me.

Post subject: i have this travel system and it fits my ford focus. i know the instructions are alittle confusing -- i couldnt understand them got hubie to do it hehe. i would double check it all and ask in the shop if they can help you.
