Post subject: Scan I am 10 weeks and I have not got my scan date through yet, I suffered a miscarriage at 6 weeks the last time and I am really nervous as I have not had my date. It is keeping me awake at night I have considered calling the midwife but feel stupid.

Post subject: Dont feel stupid at all jane. Im not an expert but have had 2 children and trying for my 3rd. Call the midwife or hospital and just ask them to confirm a date and I dont think they should or will mind.. Good luck Pupx

I would definitely phone your midwife or even your GP and explain how nervous and scared you are. They may be able to arrange an earlier scan for you or an extra one at the local early pregnancy unit. Post subject: No problem at all, let us know how you get on when you phone. It's a difficult time just now when you don't know if everything is ok or not and days seems like years when you're worrying. I'm sure everything is fine though and as long as there's no severe pain or bleeding that's a very good sign that nothing is wrong. You should join in with some of the topics in the pregnancy bit where there are loads of mums-to-be worrying about a whole manner of things! It's brings a bit of light relief sometimes and might help take your mind off things just now xxxxx

Post subject: Hi Jane. Please don't feel stupid. I cannot believe they haven't scanned you earlier. I had a bit of pain and got scanned straight away (although I then miscarried), and when I got pregnant again I got scanned straight away all at the EPU. They should not have left you to worry about this alone. Please make sure you see someone, and hopefully you will get referred soon. It sounds as if it's going well for you, but I know how awful it is worrying about it for weeks. Congratulations on being pregnant again, and fingers crossed it is all fine.
