What is the "normal" amount of time before you should have a period after having a baby ?

I had Aimee by c-section 7 weeks ago and have not had a period. I only bled for about 5-7 days after my c-section and had nothing since, is this normal ?

are you breastfeeding nic? often periods don't come back until you stop. If not, can be anytime tbh.

i had lily-ann 12weeks today and only got my first period this past wednesday(and still have it now!) so it can take anything up to 3months!

that is wat i thought!!! baby 12 weeks old.. no period did a test to check.... and i'm pregnant..... Laughing Laughing

I have a friend (baby same age as Isaac) who still hasn't had a period snce the birth. She's still exclusively breastfeeding though, the mad woman!

I had a period 4 weeks after having Isaac, despite bf - so I'd say its different for every woman!! but as dizzi says - don't assume you aren't able to get pg again just cos you've not seen af Very Happy
