Post subject: A bit gross!!!!
A few weeks ago I noticed I have a yellow crust on my nipples Embarassed Confused
Its not hurting but Im a bit worried about what it could be? Could it be due to me breastfeeding, like blocked ducts or something? Confused

Are you wearing anything that might rub and maybe causing your nipples to leak just a little bit? x

Nope just my bra (and top Laughing ), I have had no leakages for about a month now, surely my boobs would be dry by now?

I would have thought so, i just thought rubbing might stimulate them a little bit if it wasn't that long ago you stopped breastfeeding. Your nipples could be all confused Laughing .

Have you got any breastpads left? Maybe stick a couple on and see if they absorb anything that might be leaking out. At least then you'd know if there was a problem with your actual nipples rather than it being a little bit of milk.

Does that make sense cos i know what i'm trying to say, but when i reread it, it just doesn't sound right Confused Laughing x

hey Tracie

could it just be normal milk residue, but maybe your milk is really fatty at the moment cos that's what Frey needs? Cos of expressing, I got to see all the changes in my milk really clearly, and at growth spurt times it was about 50% fat, and really yellow like gold top lol. I didn't get as far as 6 months tho, so not sure if it could be that or not.

Anna
