Hi,
I have only just found this website and it's great to see people who have been through the same things talking about them - I wish I had found you all earlier!
I went into labour with Elanna whilst on holiday at 26 weeks but thankfully was taken to an amazing hospital in north wales who managed to sort me out and keep her in a little bit longer. I was kept in for 10 days before they would let me travel back to Dorset. After a 10 hour drive back home, we were only back for a morning when I went into labour again (28 weeks) and after a 32 hour labour Elanna was born. She weighed 2lb 12 but was very healthy thanks to the steroid injection and care we received. She was in SCBU for 8 weeks before they would let her come home but is now nearly caught up at 21 months. She has been an absolute dream baby (most of the time!!) but very determined - I guess that comes from these little babies having to put up such a fight from day one.
