Hi
Im going to be 40 this year and this is my 3rd baby im due in March. My eldest is 17 and youngest 11, im so looking forward to being a new mum with all the experience i now have. When i had Alice at the age of 23 i felt so young, too young in fact.
Its very exciting.

Hey Julia! You and I have alot in common, although my eldest will be 15 and I had him when I was 24. My daughter is 7, and pregnant with our third. I definately feel the age with this pregnancy, but still pretty pumped about it all.

Hi Ladies,
This a great forum! I am 40 this year and have a 14 year age gap between my son and daughter. And although people are shocked when I tell them my 14 year old son is a great help with Annabelle. x _________________

Nice to know were not the only 'older mums' around. Im just worried about being stuck on a maternity ward with a bunch of 20 yr olds

Definately the geriatric of the group then.
I have a son who is 18 in July and a daughter who is 16 from 1st marriage.
I also have a 13month old from 2nd marriage (he was my dHs first) and am expecting another in end october.
I am 42 in July.
No doubt which forum I belong to then!!

Hey hey hey, nice ot see sooooo many of us out there!!!
Im 39 (40 at end of year) with 3 children (21, 20 and 15), my partner is 41 with 3 children (21, 18, and turning 16 on day this one is due!!)
Totally unplanned for but very much wanted, and we are sooooooooo sooooooo excited about meeting her in a few weeks time.
We both feel like we are more patient people now than we were then, (even though we are slower, fatter and greyer!!!) _________________

Hi all
Well I am 41 and have 4boys 20, 18, 15 and my little 5 yr old darling.
Me and DH must be having a midlife crisis because we want another !
Daren't tell anybody in family as they will probably think we have gone mad !!
Not sure how long it gonna take this time round so feel a little nervous as I know I can't leave it toooo long
Must say I love the baby years enormously (don't like the teen ones tho been a nightmare)he he
So we will wait and see x
