Post subject: Hi there, Im not sure what is like over there but you can be hard pushed to find bumpers in NZ because of the risk of suffocation if they push themselves up that far. We can only find full matching sets of sheets, blankets and duvets but no bumpers are in any of the packs. Be interested to know what the view is over there!!

Post subject: lillamb i like the teddy's wash day stuff from mothercare and the olly and molly from next. they do bedding sets and you can get loads of stuff that matches. I don't know whether to get a cot bumper either cos i read in my mum and baby magazine that the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome people had discouraged them xxxxxx

Post subject: I agree with Archie there are some really sweet ones in mother care, I like the idea of baby sleeping bags too, especially as my little one will arrive in the winter months, they seem a really easy way to prevent things like wriggling too far under the sheets or out of them, and they match the other bedding too!
I want the next six months to hurry up and be over so I can start spending lol! Oh and all my friends have bought bumbers, just because they match, then ended up letting baby sleep in a moses basket for the first 3 months, so it seems like a bit of a waste of money to me, especially if they're linked to cot death, also if your baby is in the feet to foot position the bumper is so far away it's useless anyway! It's just a ploy to get money out of us, don't fall for it _________________ ![]()

Post subject: i know, i was weak and bought it...washed it in fairy non bio and its so soft and smells gorgeous! im so impatiant, its almost like i think if i dont buy it there and then its goinf to sell and im never going to ba able to get another one!!
to be honest, now though im far to uncomfortable to be mooching round the shops. am just about to go online though and buy the teddys wash day mobile as ive just realised i have no mobile on the crib!!! im glad i got the crib instead of the moses basket though, its adorable... good old mum, she was only going to buy a sterilizer but couldnt help herself when she saw the crib we liked...think she was making sure she got something better than pauls mum!! x _________________ ![]() ![]()
