Post subject: if you have had them before than you should be fine, plus its almost impossible to not be around your own children.
how far on is your pregnancy? also the chicken pox virus is most likely to be caught before the spots come out anyway so its impossible for you to have known she was going to get them. german measles is the one you need to watch out for in the 1st 12 wks of pregnancy, especially if you have not been immunised against rubella. to be sure, you can always give your midwife a quick call to put your mind at rest..or nhs direct. hope this helps.x _________________   Posted: Wed May 21, 2008 7:35 am
Post subject: chicken pox is ok, its measles u need to stay away from, my son had them when i was pregnant with my daughter and i was soooooooooo worried but doc said no probs, it was fine, he did say that if i got chicken pox when i went into labour the baby could get them, so dont worry all woill be fine xxx
