I wanted a middle family name too. My dads was Ardill HEHEHEH but my hubby said no to that!!! Not sure why........We chose Mac after my uncles nickname, he passed away just a few weeks before Hunter was born but Im sure he has been to visit. The day we buried him Hunter laughed for the first time when we got home and was looking over my sholder at nothing I could see. We never get Fantails around our place and it is a superstition that Fantails can carry spirits of loved ones. We were playing under our tree when a Fantail flew in and went around Hunters head a few times chirping like crazy before flying away. Hunter laughed and laughed at it and seemed really contented afterwards, it was really funny.
