Post subject: i need reassurance pls hi all
my lass hasn't slept properly for a week and she is feeling really run down, our baby is has also been very quiet although our doppler shows its hearts still going strong and it is moving about, i think that cos mummys not feelin so good that babies a bit down as well and it will prob be fine i a day or two, so i guess i just need some older hands to pat me on the hand and say thatsjust it , ty _________________ ![]() Posted: Mon Mar 02, 2009 6:08 pm
Post subject: My other half had some times when she felt really run down during the 9 months! The best thing is just to make sure that she eats well (healthily), gets plenty of rest if needed, but also goes for a light walk or some sort of gentle exercise!
I am sure that there isn't one mum that didn't feel a bit rough and have some sleepless nights during the 9 months, keep positive and she'll be through it in no time! Posted: Wed Mar 04, 2009 9:43 am
Post subject: oh bless her, poor girl.
at least now it's been diagnosed she will get the right care to keep everything ticking along. It would probably be helpful for her if you went along and made a note of all the important things she needs to remember - our brains turn to complete mush when pregnant, so lists are immensly helpful!! I'll see if I can dig out some info on GD for you. _________________ ![]() ![]() Posted: Wed Mar 04, 2009 9:46 am
Post subject: hi again
there's quite a lot out there if you google it, but this one seemed nice and factual: http://www.diabetes.co.uk/gestational-diabetes.html hope it all goes OK Anna xx _________________ ![]() ![]() Posted: Tue Apr 14, 2009 12:12 am
Post subject: I'm glad she's feeling better .... just be there for her and baby will be fine even when she's down, its just hormones and the enormity of having a baby may sometimes overwhelm her. Just be there for each other and TALK, its very important for a healthy relationship
