Post subject: if you'e having to ask then i'd sayeducation....having a baby is more important than deciding by doing a poll on a website!
i personally am doing both...but i have a supportive partner that can take the baby while i work _________________

i work full time have a mortgage and am still studying in my spare time. i feel i can afford to have a babvy without it affecting my future (education wise) if your not already preg, get your education first and work for a few years so you can get a house together. however if your already preg and thats why your asking - have the baby but continue to study (you can get free childcare) _________________

Post subject: yeh i would say get ya ecuction first thats if ya not already pregnat i think it be silly to get pg if you can do ya carrer thing first cus you can do ya training get a good job n provide 4 ya family then its not has easy has you think bringin up kiddies cus ya havent always got the freedom to do things that you want unless you got a good support network i.e parents good friends that would help wiv baby while studying but i would say get ya training done then have ya baby after xxxx

Post subject: I had my daughter just before I turned 16 (not planned) and as a result was "asked" to leave school. Meaning I couldn't sit my GCSEs. I always said i'd return to education as soon as i had the oppertunity. Unfortunatly for me this wasn't untill my daughter started school as i found myself totally on my own and my family live far away. So when my daughter started school i started college and after a year i gained 6 GCSEs., which im VERY proud of.
Being a full-time student, keeping on top of household chores, studying for up to 2 hours everynight as well as being a mum was NOT easy  I felt really guilty but had to remind myself that i was doing it for our future.
My life is much better now, I met my now hubby while at college and am pregnant again. My advice to you is to gain the qualifications you need/want before trying for a baby! Post subject: i found out i was pregnant when applying for uni and found out i can do both!
there is a nursery at uni where my boy can go to and i get help with childcare costs. depends if ur in school or not and how much ur wiling to give up but u can do both if ur willing to make the effort. x x x _________________   Posted: Mon Apr 13, 2009 10:51 pm
Post subject: As somebody said i really don't think a poll on a website is the best way to make a decision such as this and if you're doing this you're not ready for a baby!
I am a young parent at 22 and am currently a stay-at-home mum however i have a brilliant partner with a good job and i am soon going back into education myself (a part-time English language degree) but its easier for me to do this as i am in good circumstances and have a brilliant support network with my partner and alot of family. Education is very important for everybody, not just for financial reasons in the long term, but because it is lack of education and morals that is letting our society down. Being a young parent is brilliant if you're in the right circumstances and don't see it as a scape goat to having to do what everybody in this world has to do to get by ...... xx _________________
