Post subject: Hello! I'm new so i thought i'd say hello! I'm not due until September which feels like ages away.
My brief history is that we took 7 months to conceive, which apparently isn't long but certainly felt like it. Had really bad pains to start with and had an early scan to see if Squidge was ectopic, but instead i had a cyst which was causing the pain. My blood tests came back 1:60 (i'm only 30 and really didn't expect that) so i had an Amniocentesis (which has to be the worst week of my life) and the results came back all fine. So that's pretty much me! Fingers crossed we've got all our bad luck out of the way and it'll be plain sailing from now on! I really wish i'd found this site a long time ago because it would have been so nice to have had other people to talk to and everyone here seems really friendly. Anyway, i hope i haven't bored you and i'm looking forward to having some pregnant friends to talk/whinge with for the next few months! Does my ticker thingy work? x _________________

Post subject: It's really weird, last year everyone i knew that was pregnant had girls, now everyone is having boys! I knew he'd be a boy - he was such a pest at the begining that he couldn't possibly be a girly!

Post subject: Yeah, we'd chosen names before i was even pregnant! Hubby got to name him if he was a boy, so he'll be Thomas.
Wow four weeks for you, that's not long to go at all! Are you excited or scared? Have you got everything ready? x _________________

Have you put on loads of weight? I'm a bit obsessed with this as i've put on 2 stone already! Ironic really as i was slightly underweight to start with! x _________________

Post subject: I've been rubbing in Bio Oil like my life depends on it! I've got a doppler and use baby oil with that too so i'm hoping that my tummy will be supple and just ping back into shape - ha ha yeah like that's gonna happen!
