Post subject: Pulling Off Nappies at Night Evening all
My daughter will be two in July - and has recently started pulling off her nappy when in her cot (mainly at night but sometimes during her afternoon nap). Her nappy is always clean on before going to bed. This results in lots of sheet washing etc - sometimes in the middle of the night. She will sit on her potty for a few seconds at a time but that is it - and hasn't actually 'been' on her potty yet. She says 'poo' and 'wee' but not always associated with the actual times they are being done. Today she pulled off her nappy after having a poo shortly after going down for her afternoon nap (in a travel cot) and proceeding to smear it through the mesh.... not pleasant. She manages to pull off her pyjamas, tights, trousers etc with ease and therefore these are no deterrent. Can anyone give any advice??? Many thanks! Posted: Mon May 26, 2008 1:00 pm
Post subject: I had this problem with DS. What sort of plastic pants/wraps do you use? I found using pull on plastic pants from Boots at nighttime with a babygrow or pyjamas over the top stopped DS from fiddling with his nappy. He could'nt work out how to get to his nappy. If push comes to shove, vests with a poppered crotch will definitely solve the problem.
