Post subject: dropping feeds
my little boy was born 4 weeks and 2 days early, so now at 9 weeks uncorrected age he's started dropping feeds. His nappies are still wet and he passes poop with no problems, he doesn't show any signs that he's dehydrated. What can I do? Should I look at starting baby rice or something? Confused

i wouldnt give solids yet they recommend waiting till they are at least 17 weeks if he is still putting on weight i wouldnt worry too much

thanks for the advice. i've started waking him up just to get in at least an extra feed. it seems to be working. i think his teeth are causing him pain. just my luck!

If he's sleeping all night I would make the most of it and not wake him for a feed. If he continues to gain weight you've nothing to worry about at all. Don't introduce solids too early, there is no rush and you could harm his digestive system. Laughing
