Driving.....

Post subject: Ian drive about 4 days after op. He says the driving was ok. It was just the getting in and out of the car that was awkward. xxx

Post subject: He is really excited...ive been so busy at work this week that every time i see him he tells me the date we are having the op.....
The ward phoned this am to ask Dan to go in on wednesday for his pre-assessment, which he is excited about!!! Although atm this is the last thing on his mind...his brother was stabbed 3 days ago...he doesnt like his brother, but feels like he should be there, he spoke to his niece who said there wasnt anything Dan could do as sean is in a coma at the moment, they think he will pull through but have had to do a tracheostomy and are unable to bring him round from the coma yet as he is extremely agitated when they do (he is a heavy crack cocaine user...so he is probably detoxing!!) My oh drove after about a week. Time will fly by and before you know it the op will be done 
Your poor OH, it is difficult when something awful happens to your family, whilst you may not like what they do , it dosen't mean you dont love them as family. Sometimes these things can help everyone put things in prospective and it may give his brother the shock he needs to help himself. Post subject: I know what you mean Lillia, and i should know better than to judge....
Dan says that 'he doesnt like his brother but he cant help being a bit worried' He doesnt think it wil shock him into changing, he overdosed on methadone which gave him 6 cardiac arrests in succession once they got him back his heart stopped again...and that didnt change him.
