Post subject: Happy ending (well nearly) Hello everyone, I wanted to share my story with you all and to let you know i believe there are some happy endings. We started ttc over 4 years ago i came off the pill and was very hopefull, then when 6 months in i was still not pregnant and ny periods stopped completely i was very confused i went to the doctors and saw a horrid nurse who didnt take any notice of me said to go back in another 6 months!!!. So when after another 2 months of no periods and still no joy i went to see the doctors and after some blood tests and an ultersound i was told that i had PCOS was not ovuolating i have a progestrone level of 0.3.
We were sent to the hospital and put an a drus called Clomid after 7 months still no joy we were put on the IVF waiting list. As you can imagian you never think that it will come to that!! but it did and well to cut a long story short we had 2 unsucsessful attemps of ICSI and were onto our 3rd and well you get the picture iam now 22 weeks into my very first pregnance with a little baby girl. So please keep trying so people do get there in the end, if anyone has any questions please just ask and i will try and help as much as i can, i have been there all the tears, tablets and injections!!!! and until you have been there noone will ever understand the heart break. Post subject: Hi Bedarra - thanks for your story and I am so glad it has a happy ending. I have been ttc No 2 for 3 years and I too have PCOS - I too am on my 3rd lot of clomid (1st child conceived after only 2 months of clomid) however this time it just isnt working. I have had a lap and dye which was all fine and in April we had our first meeting with the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford for IVF which we are planning to have our first go in Sept. We did find out last week that my husband has low motility in his sperm and we are convinced that this is the reason we are not conceiving. He now on several vitalmin tablets and he is eating foods that are supposed to boost it. After we have done the deed I will virtually stand on my head and see if that works.

 Congrats on your baby girl, very exciting!!! I gave up after our first IVF, couldnt handle the strain that goes with it, but as you can see.....my little man arrived anyway.
