Post subject: Which German Christmas Market Hi Everyone
Our son will be 2 and half at Christmas and we would love to take him to a Christmas market in Germany. As he wouldn't understand Lapland yet. Which is the best market. Doesn't have to be the biggest. Looking for one that should have snow and not a large transfer. The one that is the most 'German' and atmospheric. Thanks Posted: Thu Sep 27, 2007 8:08 am
Post subject: I'm biased cos I lived tehre for years- but the Berlin market from 1st december at the Gedachtniskirche is lovely. Really atmospheric and bustling. Zoologischer Gardens u-bahn station

Post subject: berlin christmas markets Hi there,
Myself and my partner and our 5mths old daughter went over to berlin last yr and we would recommend any of the christmas markets as they all are magical. Really shows how bad us brits are at doing the whole christmas thing for our kids. I was bowled ouver by the whole experience.
