Post subject: Trying not to get too excited!!
Well, following a very emotional month in late April/early May I'm back in a similar situation again.
In early May had odd break through bleed, which was convinced was implantation bleed on the 8th - 10th - took 3 tests and all negative... then AFs appeared on 15th May and there was no doubt it was the evil one herself!
After AF, I decided I would hold off a month and try and just let nature take its course before buying the OPK. I'm on 26-28 day cycle, so figured if nothing happened I'd buy for my June AF. I completely ignored everything and over bank holiday hubby and I BD'd daily over Bank Holiday weekend (sorry if TMI), low and didn't realise that I was due to O around the 27th...
On Wednesday 28th my breasts seemed to grow over night... literally!! I'm usually a comfortable 34 and even with the bra on the biggest hooks, it really hurt both around my chest and the breasts themselves. I kept thinking it was water retention (I had a problem with it a few months ago), so I starting drinking more water... Over the weekend my tiredness kicked in again (one of the reasons earlier in the month that I thought I might be expecting) and I could hardly stay awake... even fell asleep with my 4 yo dd at 4.00 p.m. and probably would have happily slept the night away had she not pushed me off the couch in her sleep. (Have to love growing kids!)
Since then I have managed to daily add to the list of symptoms... Monday I had bit of cramping in my lower right side near hip bone, nothing to major and only lasted for a little while. (I usually don't get AF cramps til day before then all through it) Yesterday I went out to buy lunch and decided on Salmon Teriyaki noodles (suggested to me by Dr that I increase my "good oil" foods for increased good cholesterol - non pregnancy related conversation with her) and I finished the lot! But still felt hungry...then about 30 minutes after eating I started to feel nauseous... not sicky, just kind of motion sickness (never had any MS with #1) and had horrible burping wind. Passed then came back a couple of hours later and lasted the better part of the night. So much so that I didn't want dinner, yet when hubby had cooked it, suddenly I was starving. Again repeat of feeling motion sick later on in night.
On the way home from London a man got on the train at London Bridge carrying a baguette bag and I could tell that it was a cold tuna and cucumber sandwich even before he pushed the bag down to take a bite! All I could smell was cucumber!!!! Then when he took the cover off of his drink, all I could smell was strawberries!!!! And it's not like he was that close to me!
I'm really trying not to get too excited, but it seems like all of the symptoms are saying YES! But I'm afraid that because I want it so badly that I'm subconsciously causing my body to behave this way...
Has that ever happened to anyone of you?
(Sorry for the length of this, just needed to get it all down)

I can really relate to what you're saying. - I thought all my symptoms might be in my head after the initial sick feeling.
I've been ttc for a few months now and didn't expect it to happen too soon because I was on the contraceptive injection.
Friday before last at work I suddenly felt very motion sick - so much so that it made me vomit (sorry if TMI)
I was like it all day and night and all bank holiday weekend.
It subsided a bit by last week and AF was due on Friday just gone.
I have really bad heartburn and burping constantly, and I have awfully sore boobs - normally sleep on my front but couldn't last night - too sore.
I thougth AF had arrived monday night but it never came to much - just a slight pinky brown.
Went to docs and have had blood test today because all the home tests I have done have been neg.
Will get the results but next week at the latest.
Good luck to you - sounds promising!
Keep us posted!

Thank you all for your comments... The thing I like most about this forum is the support that you all give! Really means alot!
Weellll... on the testing front, I broke down yesterday and bought an early one... I know, I know before anyone says a thing - it's WAY too early!
I'm due to start either 10th/11tth depending on whether or not I'm actually on a 27 day cycle this month. So I thought I'd use the other early test (it was cheaper to buy the two at the same time!) on Sunday or Monday...
Have to say if it is positive, I never had the symptoms like this the first time! Sore boobs - yest, enhanced smell - yes, indigestion in late 2nd trimester - yes... the rest - NO! Dh thinks it's funny... think it's fair to give him something to make his stomach ache?? Then maybe he'd understand! Just teasing!!
Leisa - Good luck to you! When is your Dr apopintment? Fingers crossed and loads of baby dust to you!

Well... in my usual impatient way I took my test on Saturday morning! My brain apparently took a leave of absence and my "resutls as early as 6 days before ude" test started screaming at me... it was BFN.
But, here we are 2 days later and my symptoms are stronger now than ever before - Going to the loo every 5 minutes (or certainly feels like it), a nose that could rival a bloodhound, a stomach that apparently is suffering from amnesia (want to eat again 10 minutes after I have finished a meal), not to mention being exhausted and weepy...
I'm due to test again tomorrow (AF due either 10th or 11th depending on my cycle) and also have a Dr's appointment... so fingers crossed all will be positive!... No pun intended...

I havent tested for nearly a week, going by what doc said to do!!!
As I have had neg ones last week, but way over day 45 hence why I went to see the doc and he said maybe I ov later and caught it over the bank holiday.
He took some bloods (got till wait till the 16th for those), however he did say that I could test from wed and see if it comes up as possitive.
So really trying to abide by what he said....reallly hard thou.

I'm so sorry to hear about your MC... a number of years ago I had one at 13 weeks and can't even imagine what it must be like at 17 weeks.
I think I may take a test in the morning... I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow morning as a follow up to bloodwork she ordered weeks ago... she asked me if I thought I could be pregnant at the appointment (which was even before I OVd) and when I said no, she didn't bother doing a blood test, so I may need to have more bloods taken... who knows!
I know I should wait, but with my DD I had a faint line day I should have had AF... I actually had taken a test the day before and it was BFN, so I'm hoping I get my BFP in the morning...
