Post subject: Hi all, i have a little guy who is only 10 months old and already walking. I always said that i wouldnt put him into hard shoes until he was at least one, but he has such fat little feet hes already a size 4 or more. He's been wandering around in the soft shoe types but i'm told that they are no good for his support now he's fully walking. Don't really know what to do as i don't want to deform his feet by putting him in shoes before his time.... or are his feet ok for harder shoes... hummmm help pleaseeee

yes i agree with mrswolfbane, put your wee-one in proper walking shoes it will help support him and aid with his walking - you should be v proud too, walking at 10 months is unbelieveable! my boy took his fist steps a day after he turned 1 And i totally sympathise with the big feet thing! my son was a size 4 and H width when i bought him his fist walking shoes - he's now 20 months, the height of a 3yr old and has size 7 H feet!!! he costs me around £26 per 6 weeks in good shoes lol! i suppose it's my fault though for the foot gene; im a size 10 and so is daddy so he's destined to get depressed in shoe shops for the rest of his life!! hope all has gone well with your boy xxx
