Post subject: Ive been trying for 2 years.Should I start to get worried ?
Hi - I wonder if someone could help. I have been trying to conceive for two years now. Had a miscarriage a year ago - blighted ovum. Have been to see a specialist who was very unhelpful and booked another appt for next year! I have had a lap and dye + hormoine tests. All have come back normal - FSH was 9.2 and 21 day progesterone was 31 which I was told was ok but not perfect. Have taken a ovulation test which suggested I ovulated on day 9- a lot earlier than i thought - could this be a problem? Also, every six months or so, I will have two periods in one cycle. Does any of this signal any problems. QAm starting to get a bit desperate for answers now. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi petal, not sure on some of that, but the day 21 progesterone tests are Fine if you get a reading of 30 or more. My first one was 26 and although the book my dr has says 30, the lab who did the tests did not flag up mine as a problem at 26. I have just had it done again though as my cycle has suddenly gone a bit irregular after years of being bang on 28 days.
What has the dr said about you having two af in one cycle? If you've got a good dr they are the best people to ask these things. Other than that not sure really,
sorry I can't be of more help xxx

Hi hun, sorry to hear of your loss. I too had a m/c due to a blighted ovum last year after trying for a year. Have been trying again since and only just got pregnant recently. Don't know too much about cycles but I was starting to get concerned too. I think the fact that you got pregnant in the first place is a good sign that all is well, thats what the doctor told me. Speak to your doctor but i'm sure you'll get pregnant soon. best of luck. xxx
