Post subject: I'm really scared - am i pregnant and what should i do?! Hi! Im not that old, almost 16, but i am afraid that i may be pregnant. Me and my boyfriend have had protected sex twice, both times within the last month. In the last two days however, ive been thinking about when i am next due on my period and i couldnt remember the last day i was on, so i approximately guessed and worked out my start date to be today.
We have been protected but inbetween, we have had been in bed togethor, but not done anything physically togethor. If my period does not come either today or during the weekend, should i take a test and would it work? please help im so scared Posted: Fri Jun 13, 2008 7:39 pm
Post subject: You might be worrying over nothing, you may not be pregnant.
I think you should take a test to put your mind at rest. I new I was pregnant before I even did the test even though I didn't really have many symptoms. I had sore breasts and bloated stomach but that was all. Everybody is different. Have you told anybody? x x x Posted: Fri Jun 13, 2008 8:04 pm
Post subject: yeah thats what my bf said, but he doesnt reassure me!! i also have sore breasts, but ive heard that thats also a symptom of being due on your period!
i think im going to go and get a test tomorrow, is there any you would reccomend?! yeah ive told my boyfriend, and i really dont want to tell my mum! thankyou!! xxx Posted: Fri Jun 13, 2008 8:10 pm
Post subject: I had like a tingling sensation like cold water dripping over them (I'm so weird, he he...) I never had sore breasts when due on really.
As for the pregnancy tests I had boots own there were 2 tests for about ten pounds, or asda own they all do the same job. Please dont worry yourself, just deal with this one day at a time. x x x Posted: Fri Jun 13, 2008 8:19 pm
Post subject: Hi there. I would recommend First Response test - they are about £10-11 for 2 but are the most sensitive for picking up pregnancy earlier. As emma said if you were due today you can test today, just follow the instructions with this test. I hope you get the answer you want, and good luck.
