Am I?

Post subject: Am I? Ok so me and my partner have been TTC for just over a month now. (There was 1 or 2 occasions before hand where no contraception was used). I had my period on the 10th May, as I have on the 10th of every month, like clockwork. But I am 13 days late now. I took a pregnancy test when I was 10 days late. It was negative, could I be pregnant? and if so, how long should I leave it before I test again?

you may be preganant or may not be preganant. obviously your periods are always regular so it is unusual that you are late. usually home pregnancy tests will show posittive for 99% of women on or after the day of ur missed period. but just been reading a post on the forum which says that sometimes the hormone that the tests picks up may only be in your blood and not ur urine. i would say go to ur docs and get a blood test taken. _________________

I am intrigued as I am in the same boat! I went to the doc's last Thursday for blood tests (now 2 weeks late with lots of symptoms!), as still not showing on a urine test. My fingers are crossed for you, the not knowing is an absolute nightmare!!!! XxXxXxX Posted: Sun Jun 29, 2008 1:45 pm
Post subject: Good luck little flower! When was your AF due? Mine was due 16-06, had 3 BFN's i still have lots of pg symptoms its driving me mad. Ive got a planned appt with gynae on tue so i will wait n see how it goes. Its driving me mad!!!!!!! I dont understand how pg test shows neg but bloods can giv BFP??

Post subject: Mine was due on the 14th. I have a nail-biting wait until Wednesday/Thursday when the test results should be back.

I had my blood test results this morning and it was a BFN 
I am obviuosly gutted, but at least I know now!! The not knowing was driving me insane!!! Still no period though (now 17 days late!), I have to go back to the doc's on Thursday to see whats going on!! My fingers are still crossed for you!!!
