Post subject: help - any idea's

hi I am in need of some advice about my 8 week old
he has been breastfed from birth but just recently I have tried to wean him onto formula.
Big problem - tried 3 different brands but all have the same affect - he is violently sick and has a very bad stomach upset for a couple of days after. Any idea's

im not really sure wat u can do i dont have kids yet but im sure ur doctor will have some suggestions to help. maybe u cud ask him/her

Hi I have no children myself but the lady that lives accross the road from me had the same problem. Turned out the baby had lactose intolorance (think that what you call it.) The doctor gave her special formula that worked well.
Dont know if that of any help but thought I share it with you.
Try u gp see what he suggests.

wat brands have you tried?

I remember that Aptamil and SMA made Kara ill and Hipp made Zac ill, so finally setlled on cow and gate

Hi, my lil 1 was dairy intolerant we found out at 16 weeks when she starting passing bloody poos, Dr said she should have been crying and vomitting but she wasnt?!? anyway they prescribed special formula that was dairy and lactose free - from day 1 of taking new formula she was fine, I would ask your Dr, hope this helps x
