Post subject: could I still be pregnant? Hi, I've just started trying for a baby, My period is about 5 days late but keep getting negatives when I do a test (last period on 25th May), don't think I have any sign of pregnancy but keep getting a kind of crampy feeling but not the usual period pain and feeling quite hot? I don't want to get my hopes up yet but wanted to know if there might still be a chance of a positive, How long do you have to wait to go for the blood test at the docs? Plus don't feel stressed so not sure why my period would be late!

Post subject: hey -there is every possibility you could be hun - I struggle to get BFP with pregnancy tests as my hcg in urine is pants - so normally have to have blood tests to confirm anything - I would wait a few more days and if AF hasnt come I would book an appt to see the doctor.

Post subject: When I first came of the pill I was 9 days late for my second period and must have done a test everyday - LOL! I was just about to book an appointment when it came!
Try and relax (I know that is hard) as worrying about it can delay your period!! I have been trying since Christmas, and I am two weeks late (with lots of positive signs - sore boobs, bloating, peeing alot etc etc!), but still nothing showing on urine tests. I had a blood test last Thursday (12 days late) - just waiting for the results with my fingers crossed!! It was reassuring to see to see yummymummy2008's response as I feel pregnant, but can't understand why it's not showing on urines tests yet!!! Best of luck hunny I really hope you are! Post subject: lots of different ones! I originally tried first response but think I was to inpatient, I've just started using the ones from e-bay due to the amount I was going through! Just did another test this morning and thought I saw a really really faint line which i don't think i've seen before, maybe i'm imagining it? I wouldn't say its positive but I will test again in a few days!

Post subject: just to let you all know I have re tested this morning and the line is getting stronger, it is a definate BFP! I'm so excited but trying not to tell to many people till i'm past the risky bit, it's so hard!
