2 years 10 months and counting.......

Post subject: 2 years 10 months and counting....... well i am still waiting for my BFP after my ectopic pregnancy 2 years 10 months ago.
We have been to the docs and then referred for fertility specialist. I have had a HSG done and found out that my right tube (only one left) is blocked something shocking. No wonder nothing has been happening. 
Yet to have another HSG done laparscopically, but on waiting list for that. Although we are saving to see if we can get it done privately. See which one happens first. So tired of waiting. So want my child now. There should be a limit on how long the waiting period is. After so long you just feel like giving up on the whole thing. Might as well just have a career. I'm gonna be about 27-28 when i have my child (if it ever happens). I'm 25 1/2 now. Can't afford to go privately until about another 9 months. (there you go 9 months, could have had a child in that time). So by the time i do get to have a kid, 3 1/2 to 4 years wil have passed by. Gosh, so unfair. Sorry just need to get it off my chest. Post subject: Aww misshopeful,
so sorry. I hope they can unblock your remaining tube for you. I have only been trying for a couple of months since EP in April and it seems like a lifetime already. Not sure what state my other tube is in, but i had a chemical in June, so i am hopefully optimistic, but scared in case i do get pg and its another EP then i could lose my only tube - and i really am too old for IVF at 38. At 25 1/2 you still have time on your side, so dont stress too much. IVF would be a good option for you with a good chance of sucess as your eggs should still be okay. It is an awful legacy to have hanging round your neck. I see ladies on here that got a bfp at the same time as me and their tickers are a reminder of what i lost

I know i have a bit of time on my side which is good, but as you know it doesn't take long for time to fly by. I also try to keep reminding myself that by the time we do have a child, we will have everything we need. Sorry to hear about your EP and chemical pregnancy, hope you get your BFP soon. Post subject: Misshopeful. Im so sorry hun for what you are going through. I really hope you dont have to wait too much longer for you HSG and that it is possible for it to be unblocked. As Julie says you do have time on your side and possibly a future option of IVF. I can empathise that the waiting seems forever and is so difficult emotionally for you.
