Post subject: 3 in 1 travel system advice
Hi Everyone,
went yesterday to Mothercare to have a look at 3 in 1 travel system, really liked the Silver Cross one, however when got home saw that the reviews on the Mothercare website are not very good...would like one which is not too heavy as don't have a car at moment, however would use the car seat when travelling and also to get back from hospital...how do you know that the car seat will fit the car you are hiring, or the taxi? as I saw people are having problems with this?
Anyone can advice, and anyone has used the Silvercross one and can recommend it? or recommend another one? our budget would be 250 approximately.
Thanks all for your help.

hi mumsy,

i bought a graco trvael system when i had my daughter. this cost me 150 and i am still using it now so definetly worth the money.

car seat has fitted every car i have used( mine, my mums, mother in law, sisters, gdads, other sisters, taxi, etc.) so had no problem with car seat.

pram is light enough and pram lies right back so my daughter can have gd sleep in there. gt raincover and hod to keep her warm. got cup holder so she can eat from it.

im very happy wiv it and prefer to use it now then little buggys as i no she can sleep in it feed in it and she is comfy in it and it is realy easy to push and has big basket at bottom which i can fit loads in wen i go shopping and fits in my boot gd aswell so glad aswell coz dunno wot i wud have done if it didnt.

Thanks Laura for the advice, which of the Graco do you have? I really liked the Graco as well, is convenient both for you and your partner as I know for some of them you can change the length of the handles?
