anyone had a 34 weeker?

Post subject: anyone had a 34 weeker? I'm not there yet, but starting to get some contractions, and just not sure how much longer I'll end up going with this one.
So I was just curious, had anyone had a baby at or around 34 weeks? What should I be ready for? Thanks ladies! _________________

Post subject: Hi, I had 32 weeker, but my sister inlaw had 34 weekers they are twins. They had 5 days in scbu only because 1 of them had feeding porblems other wisw they would have gone home after a few days as she had c section. Good luck keep ya legs crossed!!!!

Thank you for your reply...and it's good news too! let's hope he stays in another 2 weeks, but atleast I have an idea if it doesn't work out that way. _________________

Post subject: I had my little girl at 35 weeks, despite her trying to come earlier. We had to stay in hospital for a week, in transitional care, when she was born as she was not feeding very well as she got tired quickly. She is now doing really well.

My little girl was born at 35 weeks, we thought everything would be fine, but she had to go into NICU as her lungs weren't 100% ready yet, and was put on oxygen. Then she got terrible jaundice which made her very tired. She was in hospital for 12 days before she could come home... Post subject: I had Aimee at 34 weeks
 She had to be taken out as my placenta was failing and she wasnt getting fed inside me.
She was 110% healthy but she was teeny because she wasnt being fed , she was only 2lb 15oz and she had to stay in hospital for 22 days. Good luck xx _________________   Posted: Sun Apr 11, 2010 8:17 am
Post subject: i had georgia at 35 weeks she was 5lbs 9oz.
she was healthy and didnt need any time in special care. but she didnt gain weight straight away and had to be treated for jaundice. she is now 5 and a half months and doin wel at 13lbs. _________________
