Post subject: Ours is a 4 hour flight to turkey, I wouldnt have chosen to do it really but my big bro is getting married over there so i wouldnt miss it for the world. We have booked with Thomas Cook as they are sorting the wedding but i think the policy applies for most airlines, you do need to get him a passport.

Post subject: I flew with Tayla when she was 3 and 4months old (cyprus-UK so 4-5hour flight) the way there was a night flight and she was brill....got tutted at loads lol but she didnt make a peep!
The way back was an afternoon flight, we were delayed a coule of hours and then had to sit on the plane an hour before it even moved You get either have them on your lap or pay for a seat and use their car seat (has to be a certain type and baby had to be 6months+) Make sure u take plenty of bottles or a dummy for take off and landing to help their ears. _________________ Posted: Thu Oct 01, 2009 5:37 pm

I know it seems so stupid, can you imagine going on holiday when he is 5 and showing a passport with a new born baby?!?! I dont see why thay cant be on your passport like used to be allowed.
I know! They're just doing it so you have to buy them a new passport every time you want to fly. It's stupid. x Posted: Tue Oct 20, 2009 3:02 pm
Post subject: Hey..
We are flying home to Inverness from London a week on friday. I am slightly nervous about it as on the way back I will be on my own with her. I am taking a slightly bigger rucksack as hand luggage so i can have a few bottles, dummies and toys to amuse her.. I know its only a short flght... about 1 hour and 20 mins but well we all know how unpredictable and easily bored bubs can get. She needs to get used to it tho as we will be doing it atleast 4 times a year xxx _________________ ![]() Posted: Mon Oct 26, 2009 9:03 am
Post subject: I'll make you all feel better - we're flying to New Zealand which in total will be about 30 hours from leaving the UK to arriving in NZ. George will be 8 months and I'm just going to try and not think about it at all until nearer the time.
Things we do so that our family can see our LO.... _________________ ![]() Posted: Mon Oct 26, 2009 3:32 pm
Post subject: I fly my daughter Kaila when she was at her 6th month. She seems enjoyed at that time.
