So confused!

Post subject: So confused! Hi Everyone, i'm completely new to this but thought i'd see if i could get any info/stop my self from feeling completely bonkers. I was wondering when was the best time for me to take a test? my period is not due for about 10 days but i have been experiencin lots of the syptoms i've read up on. So should i wait until my period is due or late to take a test? Also is taking the pill going to do me any harm if i am pregnant, i don't want to stop taking it in case it's all in my head (I know the pill is very effective, i've just had a few occassions where i've slipped up taking it etc). Arrghh i'm so confused

Welcome to the forum 
Ideally wait until the day your period is due as this is when a test will be more accurate, however you can purchase first response tests where you can test 5 days before your period is due. If you find out you are pregnant stop taking the pill immediately, regarding whether you should stop taking it now incase you are I wouldn't know, maybe you could get in touch with your doctor to find out. Post subject: Hi thanks for gettin back to me so quickly! i've got a doctors appt on monday so hopefully everything will become clear then! i think i'll wait until i'm due to take a test, i did one before and it was negative but i didn't realise i was supposed to take it around my period. I'm sure you all feel the same but i just hate all the waiting, i just want to find out now! xxx

Post subject: Doctors appointment was terrible, was a miserable old man who wasn't listening, tried telling him everything and he basically dismissed it as my period. But i know its more than that because i never really get any signs that period is coming, i just know when its due because of the pill. So i'm as confused as ever and have aonther 6 das until taking a test. My boobs are soo sore and heavy today (and big which i'm not complaining about lol) arrrghh i think i need to try and forget about it till sunday but its all i can think about!xxx
