Post subject: Baby jumping in sleep
Hi everyone
My baby's arm keeps twitching in her sleep and she is almost jumping.
Is this osmething to be concerneed about?

Hiya

Carmen did this when she was newborn, i think its pretty normal, just them getting used to seeing the world and dreaming about all the new things she's seen Smile
If she carries on doing it then i would talk to your health visitor, im sure its nothing to worry about Smile

Don't think it's anything to worry about. Ava still flings her arms out when she gets a fright or is cold. xx

Sounds like the moro reflex which all babies are born with - it tends to go about 3 to 4 months I think. If it is waking her up then you can swaddle her tightly.

noo I think its totally normal Jones it's just there startle reflex thats why new borns are normally swaddled just so they don't wake themselves up jumping Smile

callum use to do it all the tie x would wake him up everytime its gotten better now xx
like others said u can try swaddling xx
